Luke Wilkinson will be running the length of the UK, aiming to complete JOGLE. This challenge will see him averaging 80km’s each day.

The route will start at John O’Groats in Scotland, the northernmost point of the UK, and ends at Land’s End in England, the southernmost point. Covering over 800 miles of diverse terrain, from the rugged Scottish Highlands to the rolling hills of the Lake District, and the bustling cities of the Midlands to the tranquil countryside of the West Country.

Luke is set to start the challenge on Saturday 14th June 2024, you can follow his progress on the tracker below.

Through the JOGLE attempt, Luke’s aim is to raise awareness and money for three charities; Alzheimers UK, Beat and Sheffield Teaching Hospitals.

There are fundraising pages that you can donate to for the chosen charities. You can find further information for each below.

Completing a challenge of this scale isn’t easy, with Luke not only running the entire distance, but arranging all of the logistics for the attempt.

The costs add up quickly. With van hire, food, fuel and insurance all needed to make the attempt possible. You can contribute to this through the link below.
